The difficult task of socializing

Posted on Updated on

Here I go. This is my confession. Since I started my PhD, almost four months ago, I have found that socializing and finding new friends it is very difficult. Even more, it is very hard to hang out with my old friends.

However, thanks God, I am not the only one. It was a huge surprise when I read the following post some days ago. After read it, I almost die laughing. I realized that a PhD student must be the best friend of himself/herself.

Hope you die laughing as me and as most of the PhD students:

Starting a Blog about a PhD

Posted on

Hi readers.

This is not my first attempt starting a blog in which I want to write my ideas and thoughts about my Phd and my life. However, I am here, again.

First of all, I pretend to write in English because I want to improve my writing skills. English is not my first language and after two years of learning it, I feel like a toddler (in this language) and I have to learn even more. I apologize if I have huge grammar mistakes. Please, feel free to send me a feedback if you find one.

I am a doctor (General Practitioner) and I have started a PhD three months ago. Because of this, the name of my blog: A Doctor Doctor. It is funny when people tell me that I am a Doctor Doctor. Really… It sounds like I am a very smart person and I believe they are absolutely wrong. However, I am here, in the pathway to become a Doctor Doctor.

I would like to interact with other PhD or PhD candidates and share ideas. It is hard to study a PhD because it is a lonely way to be an expert.

Thanks for reading…
